We are not a lender
This is important to state clearly: we do not lend money, and we never collect loan applications. We are an informational resource. When someone applies through a lender, they deal with that lender directly, not with us. We do not receive commissions for referring borrowers, and linking to a lender is not an endorsement.
Our editorial promise
- Honesty over hype. We never invent interest rates, fees, approval odds, or lender facts. Where figures vary, we say so and point you to verify with the lender or the CBN.
- Practical advice. Everything we publish is meant to be used — checklists, comparison tables, and plain steps you can follow.
- Plain language. We explain borrowing in clear Nigerian English, and we offer guides in Pidgin for readers who prefer it.
- Independence. Sponsorship or partnerships on the lender services side never affect the standards we hold borrowers to.
Who approves the content
Our guides are written in-house by the microloans.ng editorial team and reviewed for factual balance, honesty, and alignment with our editorial promise before publication. We are not licensed to give financial advice; everything we publish is general information to help you make your own decisions.
Data protection
Ranked Technologies Ltd is a registered data controller and takes data protection seriously. Because this site is fully static and does not track visitors, we collect very little — you can read the details in our privacy page.
Our wider work
We operate panel infrastructure and research services, including subject-specific communities, used to run borrower-readiness programs for lenders. None of that changes what this public site is: independent, honest guidance for borrowers, in plain language.
